1880's KINNEY TOBACCO GIRLIE CARD "WOMAN PAINTED ON CASTANETS," NOVELTIES SERIES

1880's Morning Glory Maidens Tobacco Card, from D Buchner & Co, New York, featuring a fantastic, chromolithograph illustration of a beautiful, young woman, in a blue skating outfit, holding skates in her hand... very risque for the time. These were premiums given with packages of Morning Glory Tobacco. This card comes from the N285 Series, issued between 1888 and 1889. Also the cards could be redeemed for prizes. It is in good to very good condition, with mild soiling, strong edges and corders, but with some glue residue on the back. Clearly the original owner kept this card in a scrapbook. The colors are bright and vibrant and the card is VERY attractive. Please see all of the photos above to confirm the content and condition.

Fantastic and rare, "1880's Kinney Tobacco Card, "Woman Painted on Castanets," Novelties Series."  The design on the card shows a fantastic, chromolithograph illustration of a jeweled castanet,and on it is painted a beautiful, young lady with curley hair, a dark blue top and a white lacy collar.
Individual cards from this series were premiums given with packages of cigarettes.  On the back it states "Kinney Bros. Novelties, 25 Styles. One in each package of cigarettes.  These cards were issued between 1888 and 1889.
This rare and wonderful, "Kinney Novelties Card" is in excellent condition.  There is no soiling or wear to the edges. The back is also very clean and bright, but it does have a small tape or glue mark in the center.

Priority Mail International (Flat Rate) -Delivery can take 10-12 days business.
Very seldom a package will get "stuck" in customs for as much as
a month
.  Please be patient.
We mail all packages in a timely manner. But a
delivery time can not be guaranteed, since the delivery is accomplished through the postal services of two countries, AND the package must be inspected by your country's Customs Department, before being delivered to you.
