    Mount Clemens Pottery
    2 Green Petal Ware 6.25" Bread & Butter Plates
    c. 1930s
    These two small (6.25-inch) bread and butter plates are made by Mt. Clemens Pottery. After a lot of searching, I finally found the pattern at the replacements site, where it was listed as "Petal Green," discontinued c. 1935 (see item 64073).
    The plates are in good condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are a lot of utensil marks (more in the plate shown on the left in the photos, see closeup for a better view), but no deep gouges or discoloration.
    The plates are shaped like flowers, with 6 petals on the embossed rim. They are dark green (darker than some of the photos show). There are no maker's marks on either plate that I can find.
