    Description

    Although he label on this coin describes it as being issued by the Royal Greenland Company, it was actually issued as part of the Greenland Danish State. Greenland became an integral part of the Kingdom of Denmark in 1953 and all coins issued by Greenland were withdrawn from circulation on July 1st, 1967.
